Victron 40 Amp Argo Diode Battery Combiner BCD 402

The Victron BCD 402 Diode Battery Combiners are used to guarantee continuous DC power to provide a stable supply line to critical equipment, such as an electronic engine control system. With the Victron Diode Battery Combiner two or more DC power sources or battery systems can be used in parallel to supply the stable output for the critical load required.

If there is a failure in one of the power sources the Victron Battery Combiner will not interrupt power to the critical load, it will maintain the constant stable power it is designed to do. The Argo Battery Combiners feature a low voltage drop thanks to the use of Schottky diodes: at low current the voltage drop is approximately 0,3 V and at the rated output approximately 0,45 V.
